Hailing from the fishing town of Otaru, Hokkaido, this historical restaurant was established more than 70 years ago.

Established in Hokkaido, Otaru Masazushi makes use of the area's abundance of fresh, unique seafood. Always in pursuit of becoming “the home of Japan’s top sushi chefs”, the location in Ginza, and now Shinjuku, has captured the attention of many. We pride ourselves in the use of special ingredients from Hokkaido. Please enjoy our chef’s specialties, such as ika somen or botan shrimp.

Fresh squid is carefully sliced into thin sashimi, resembling somen(thin Japanese wheat noodles).It is served with a dipping sauce made from sea urchin and egg yolk. One bite and the delicious flavors of Hokkaido will bring a smile to your face.
