築地玉寿司 Tsukiji Tamazushi 13F

This historical sushi restaurant was founded in the center of Japan’s seafood industry, Tsukiji.

Tsukiji Fish Market is also known as “The World’s Kitchen”. Tamazushi was established in Tsukiji more than 90 years ago. We employ only the most experienced chefs in our traditional, non-revolving restaurant, where each piece of sushi is made by hand. Not only do we offer premium sushi, but also an array of seafood menu items and fresh, select fish from all over Japan, as well as flavor-enhancing sake pairings. Our cheerful staff looks forward to serving you in our newly renewed, beautiful restaurant.

Popular all throughout Japan, Temaki-zushi(sushi hand rolls)were invented here at Tamazushi in 1971. These unique rolls gained popularity because the fan-like spreading shape is said to represent growth and expansion, and bring good luck. Please enjoy this unique delicacy, a little bit different from Nigiri-zushi(sushi shaped by chef’s hand).
