Hailing from Shinjuku, we specialize in beef tongue and barley rice. We emphasize natural, healthy and delicious flavors

Beef tongue, barley rice, and tororo yam. At first glance it seems a strange combination, but this is a supreme pairing that combines healthy eating with irresistible flavor. Our high quality, tender beef tongue is grilled in a way that locks in the flavor. One tongue produces nine slices. We select the finest ingredients for our barley rice and tororo yam. You’ll be hooked on the flavor of our simple meal set.

Tororo yam is a traditional Japanese food that is made by grating raw Japanese mountain yam. We use Yamato yams from Takomachi, Chiba Prefecture in our shop. Tororo yam is highly nourishing, promotes appetite, and aids in digestion, making it a wonderful pair with barely rice. This dish is called mugitoro(mugi means barley in Japanese)since barley rice and tororo yam are served together.
