Nakamuraya is an old established restaurant that is a representative image of Shinjuku. Founded in 1927, our restaurant began as a teahouse and now its many locations in central Shinjuku are loved by all. Our specialty is Indian curry. Nakamuraya was the first restaurant in Japan to sell authentic Indian curry. The founders, Mr. and Ms. Soma, and their menu specialties were created from exchange with foreigners and other cultures, and have spread across Japan.
